Hey! My name is Sam Rankin! I am incredibly passionate about photography, and want to capture the one of a kind candid moments that truly tell a story! 

 

My story starts back when I was around 10 years old. I saw my father shooting weddings, seniors, and sporting events. Too young to also shoot photos for him, I helped move light stands in the studio, marveled at his camera gear, and admired his work. After quite a bit of time, I finally picked up my first camera from my dad's camera bag when he wasn't home one day, took a few images, thought 'eh this is pretty cool', then deleted them off the card and put it away as I wasn't about to get in trouble for it.

 

Since then, I have worked hard developing my craft, studying the latest techniques, and most of all turned my photography hobby into a career path.
